3 apples finely chopped
1 cup milk chocolate
¼ cup brown sugar
2 table spoons butter
1 tea spoon cinnamon powder
¼ cup chopped walnuts
6 Fillo sheets
5 table spoons caramel/chocolate sauce
few flowers/ colorful sprinkles to garnish
almond milk for brushing
Vanilla ice cream to serve by the side
- In a double boiler melt the chocolate. Keep it aside. In a pan add butter and chopped apples. Cook the apples in the butter for 2-3 minutes. Add brown sugar and let it cook for another 4-5 minutes. Now add walnuts, cinnamon and cook for another 2-3 minutes and switch of the flame. Add the melted chocolate and let the apple walnut chocolate mixture get cool.
Pre-heat the oven at 200 degrees Celsius. Place 6 Fillo sheets one on another. Place the apple walnut mixture on the side as shown in the video. Start rolling it tightly. Seize the ends brushing with almond milk. Make a circle and bake it till brown.
Once baked take it out from the oven. Garnish with caramel/chocolate sauce and few edible flowers/sprinkles/chocolate chips. Serve hot/cold with Vanilla ice-cream.
