Baked Carrot Falafel with orange jalapeno sauce ( 4-5 persons) Ingredients for Carrot Falafel · 2 medium sized chopped carrot · 1 tin chickpeas/1 ½ cup cooked chickpeas · ¼ cup of sesame seeds · ¼ cup of flour · 3 table spoons chopped garlic · 3 table spoons grated ginger · 1 table spoon of Roasted cumin seeds powder · salt · black pepper · 2 table spoons of olive oil Method: · Pre-heat the oven at 180 degrees Celsius. In a bowl add chopped carrot ,1 table spoon of chopped garlic,1 table spoon of grated ginger ,2 table spoons of olive oil, salt & pepper. Mix well. Arrange it in a baking tray and bake it for 20-25 minutes. · In a food processor, add baked carrots, chickpeas, sesame seeds,2 table spoons of chopped garlic & ginger, roasted cumin powder, salt & black pepper. Grind well. Take it out in a bowl add the flour, make small balls. Bake the balls for 30 minutes till it turn brown. You can also fry them or cook on a non-stick pan. Ingredients for orange jalapeno sauce · ¼ cup jalapeno · 1 table spoon orange zest · 4-5 table spoons orange juice · ¼ cup chopped parsley · ½ cup chopped coriander /cilantro · 1 table spoon of grated ginger · 2 table spoons of olive oil · salt · pepper Method: · In a grinder mix all the ingredients and your orange jalapeno sauce is ready. Ingredients for Ginger Tahini sauce · ¼ cup of tahini · 1 table spoons of grated ginger · 1 tea spoon of lemon zest · 1 table spoon of lemon juice · 2-3 table spoons of scallions · 5-6 table spoons of water · salt & black pepper Method: · In a grinder mix all the ingredients. Grind well. Your Ginger Tahini sauce is ready. Ingredients for hung curd dressing · ½ cup hung curd · 1 table spoon chopped garlic · 2 table spoons shallots · 2 table spoons chopped scallions · salt · black pepper Method: · in a bowl mix all the ingredients. Your hung curd dressing is ready. Serve it hot with Naan, Tandoori roti or Pita pocket bread.
