
Ingredients & methods of Chocolate Truffles from Israel
2 table spoons Kahlua coffee liquor
200 gm chocolate biscuits
100 gm tea time biscuits
100 gm dark chocolate
¼ cup almond milk
3 table spoons cocoa powder
1 table spoon coffee powder
2 table spoons unsalted butter
¼ cup powdered sugar
- In a double boiler add butter and dark chocolate till it melts. In a food processor or a mixer add both the biscuits and churn till grinds well. Add the melted chocolate, almond milk, cocoa powder, coffee powder and powdered sugar and churn for another 2-3 minutes. Add Kahlua liquor and churn again. The chocolate truffle batter is ready. Keep it in the refrigerator for 10-15 minutes. Now take out the batter and take small portions and make balls as shown in video.
- For decoration of the chocolate truffles
¼ cup grated coconut
edible decorative sprinkles and pearls
Method:
Now in a platter place the grated coconut and roll the chocolate truffle on it. Similarly, with the edible decorative sprinkles and pearls.
