Coconut Sandesh/Nariyal Sandesh - Indian food recipe
Ingredients & methods of Coconut Sandesh/Nariyal Sandesh

    1 liter full cream milk
    1 cup grated coconut
    1 table spoon honey
    2 table spoons jaggery
    1 table spoon rose water
    ¼ cup chopped pistachio
    pinch of saffron
    pinch of cardamom powder
    2-3 table spoons lemon juice

    Boil the milk and once start boiling switch off the flame and add lemon juice. Strain the paneer and let it hang for an hour. The paneer is ready.

    In a pan add the paneer and sauté on a slow flame for 1-2 minutes. Add the jaggery and sauté on a slow flame for 5 minutes till the water evaporates. Let it cool and churn in a mixer.

    In a bowl add the grated coconut, honey, saffron, rose water and cardamom powder. Mix well.

    In a small plater/bowls/glasses make a nice layer of Sandesh. Sprinkle a layer of coconut and garnish with chopped pistachio, saffron. Serve it chilled.
