Corn Pakoda – Bhajias (makes for 4 people)
Ingredients & methods of Corn Pakoda – Bhajias

    2 cups freshly grated American corn
    ΒΌ cup gram flour(besan)
    2 table spoons finely chopped green chilies
    2 table spoons grated ginger
    4 table spoons chopped coriander(cilantro)+ more for garnishing
    1 tea spoon garam masala
    1 tea spoon red chilly powder
    1 table spoon chaat masala
    salt to taste
    pinch of asafoetida(optional)
    oil for frying

    In a deep pan add oil for frying. Meanwhile in a bowl add grated corn, salt, chilly powder, green chilies, ginger, coriander leaves, asafoetida and gram flour. Mix well and make bhajias as shown in the video. Fry till becomes golden. Take it out and place them on a tissue paper. Sprinkle chaat masala and few coriander leaves. Serve it with green chutney and ketchup.

Most important tip: Add gram flour just before frying.
