Curry Paneer

 
Curry Paneer (serves 4) Ingredients:
  • 2 table spoons vegetable oil
  • Hot water
  • 350 gm paneer cubed
  • 3 medium sized tomatoes chopped skinless
  • 2 medium sized sliced onions
  • 6 cloves garlic
  • 2 table spoons chopped ginger
  • 2 table spoons chopped cilantro
  • 1 table spoons red chilly powder
  • 2 table spoons coriander powder
  • 1 tea spoon turmeric
  • 1 tea spoon garam masala
  • 1 tea spoon cumin powder
Method:
  • In a blender add tomatoes, garlic, ginger and make a smooth paste.
  • In a pan add oil and sliced onions and sauté till the onions turn brown. In a grinder add these onions and crush that.
  • In a pan add 1 table spoon oil, add the onion paste and sauté for 30 seconds. Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chilly powder, cumin powder, garam masala and sauté again for 30 seconds. Add the tomato ginger garlic puree and let it cook for 5 minutes. 
  • Add the cubed paneer and stir it well. Add salt and 1 cup hot water and let it cook for 10 minutes.
  • Garnish with chopped cilantro. Serve hot with rice/naan/paratha.
