Matar ki Chaat

 
Ingredients & methods of Matar ki Chaat

    1/2 Boiled fresh Peas (Matar)
    2 raw potatoes (peeled and grated)
    1 cup curd
    4 table spoons green chutney
    4 table spoons tamarind (imli) chutney
    1 table spoon sugar
    salt to taste
    1 tea spoon amchur (dried mango powder)
    1 tea spoon red chili powder
    1 tea spoon chaat masala
    1 tea spoon bhuna jeera powder (roasted cumin powder)
    pinch of black pepper
    1 table spoon oil + oil to fry
    2 table spoons chopped cilantro

    Peel the potatoes and grate them. Heat the oil and fry the grated potatoes. Take them out when golden brown.

    In a pan add a table spoon of oil, add the boiled peas, salt, pinch of red chili powder, chaat masala, amchur, pinch of black pepper and jeera powder. Add 10-15 granules of sugar. Sauté well and take it out in a bowl

    In a bowl add curd, tea spoon of sugar, pinch of salt, jeera powder, red chili powder. Whisk well.
    In a platter spread the cooked peas equally. Top it with the whisked curd. Spread green chutney and tamarind chutney. Spread the fried potatoes lachha .arnish with cilantro.
