Oreo coffee chocolate mousse with chocolate ganache

 
Oreo coffee chocolate mousse with chocolate ganache (makes 8-10 glasses) Ingredients
  • 1 packet Chocolate Oreo biscuits
  • 1 small packet mini chocolate biscuits
  • 75 gm dark chocolate
  • 75 gm milk chocolate
  • 2 table spoons coffee powder
  • 3 cups whipped cream
  • 100 gm mascarpone cheese
  • 4 table spoons butter
  • 2 table spoons icing sugar
  • 1 tea spoon vanilla essence
  • 2 table spoons of baileys/rum/coffee liquor(optional)
Method : Take 1 packets of Oreo biscuits and 2 table spoons of butter. Churn it in a grinder and keep this ready.  For Chocolate Coffee Mousse
  1. In a mixer churn oreo biscuits and butter to create a crunchy base. Spread it out in a tin dish and keep it in the fridge to set.

  2. In a separate pan boil the dark chocolate as shown in the video. Whip the cream till the peaks are formed and keep it aside. Now whip the mascarpone cheese with icing sugar and add coffee, Baileys (optional), and the melted dark chocolate and whip some more.

  3. Add a teaspoon of vanilla essence and mix it well. Add the previously whipped cream to the mixture. Give it a good mix one last time and place the mixture on the crispy oreo mix and refrigerate it for about 4 hours.

For Chocolate Ganache 

  • Add butter in a pan with some whipped cream and mix it well. Add milk chocolate and stir until the chocolate melts.

  • Pour the chocolate ganache into a piping bag and gently cover the surface of the mousse and let it sit in the fridge for another 3 hours.

Assembly

In a bowl or glasses pour the oreo butter mix to create a base. Add the coffee chocolate mousse and pour chocolate ganache on the top. Decorate it with mini Oreo biscuits and blueberries or grated chocolate.
